PHASE CONTROLLER FOR MOTOR

The phase controller consists of a motor and a rotation detector for converting a motor rotating condition into a speed signal and a phase signal. A speed comparison circuit detects a difference between the speed signal and a speed target value and a resettable phase signal circuit generates a phase reference signal with a phase comparison circuit detecting a phase difference between the phase signal and the phase reference signal. A reset signal is outputted to the phase signal generating circuit according to the output of the speed comparison circuit. A circuit synthesizes the output of the speed comparison circuit and the output of the phase comparison circuit with circuit driving the motor according to the output of the synthesizing circuit. The phase reference signal is reset according to the motor phase to reduce the phase control pulling-in time.
