<p>PURPOSE:To heighten the concentration of N2 gas by attaching a branching piping system equipped with a specific value and a N2 gas storage tank to a pipe connecting an adsorption tank and a N2 gas product tank, adsorbing O2 gas from charged air in the adsorption tank and separating and condensing N2 gas. CONSTITUTION:Air from a compressor 1 is charged in the second adsorption tank 4B through a valve 6 to adsorb most of O2 in the air and the O2 is subsequently taken out through a valve 8. When the concentration of the N2 gas is low at the early and finish times of the N2 gas-taking process, the valves 14 and 9 are closed and opened, respectively, to store the N2 gas in a temporary storage tank 15. When the concentration of the N2 gas is high, the valves 14 and 9 are opened to feed a N2 gas product tank 13, followed by taking out the product. During the process the first adsorption tank 4A is subjected to a reduced pressure to reproduce the filled adsorbing agent. The N2 gas of a relatively enriched state remained in the second adsorption tank 4B is transferred to the first adsorption tank 4A to equalize the pressure of the N2 gas. Further, valves 5, 7, 11 and 14 are opened and valves 6, 8, 9 and 10 are closed to reversely flow the N2 gas having a low concentration from the temporary storage tank 15 into the adsorption tank 4A having a low pressure to back up the raising of the pressure in the adsorption tank.</p> |
