The invention relates to a metering closure (1) for a bottle (8) or the like for metering a liquid (F), having a metering chamber (2) which is held in a cap part (6) to be attached on the bottle (8), the intention being for the metering chamber (2) projecting into the interior of the bottle (8) to be filled by initial tilting of the bottle (8) and the contents of the metering chamber (2) to be poured out by further tilting of the bottle (8). In order to design the metering closure in a manner which is favourable for use and is simple in terms of manufacture, the invention proposes that the metering chamber (2) is arranged movably in the closure and is to be moved by hand from a filling position into a pouring position, the metering chamber (2) being closed towards the outside in the filling position. <IMAGE>
