A partition-wall element for partition walls and room dividers exhibits panel elements which are arranged one beside the other and one above the other and are each formed from a peripheral profile frame on which in each case one panel is arranged on both sides, complementary tongue and groove profiles of the profile frame projecting from the borders of said panels.
