PURPOSE:To provide the subject novel compound expressed by a specific formula and useful as a lubricating oil suitable for using in the compression of chlorine- free fluorocarbons. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound is expressed by formula I (X is 2-12C residue of compound, having 2-8 OH group; R is 1-10C alkyl residue excluding OH; (k) is 1-8; (l) is 0-7; (m) is 0-7; (n) is 0-7; (k)+(l)+(m)+(n)=2-8, (a), (b) and (c) are 4-20; AO is 2-4C oxyalkylene) and is e.g. the compound of formula II.
