Dental ceramic compositions and their use

The trituration of dental ceramic compositions composed of ceramic powder and a trituration liquid which, removed by aspiration or drying, causes a certain stability is state of the art. The present invention describes a material combination between the dental ceramic composition and a light-curing plastic. After modelling, the composition mixture is photopolymerised, removed without deformation and baked in a ceramic furnace, during which the light-curing plastic incinerates. This material combination is particularly suitable for direct intraoral use as shoulder composition, for relining ceramic semifabricated components and for direct and indirect production of inlays and onlays.
