摘要	The drive for a mechanical press consists of a flywheel (1) an epicyclic gear train (2) and a hydraulically actuated clutch and brake combination. The flywheel (1) is mounted on a hollow shaft which is connected by a toothed coupling (8) to the shaft (7) of the sun wheel of the epicyclic gear. The planetary cage (11) of the epicyclic gear on the side facing the flywheel (1), is connected to a hollow shaft (12) which is mounted in at least two bearings (13) inside and coaxial to the second hollow shaft (6) which is fixed to the drive housing. The first hollow shaft (12) is coaxial to the sunwheel shaft (7). This first hollow shaft (12) has an extension (15) which is provided with splines to receive the clutch plates (16). USE - Mechanical presses.
