RECOMBINANT DNA OF PHENOL OXIDASE, YEAST TRANSFORMED WITH SAME RECOMBINANT DNA, CULTURE MIXTURE THEREOF AND PRODUCTION OF PHENOL OXIDASE

PURPOSE:To efficiently produce phenol oxidase by inserting a phenol oxidase gene into a manifestation vector derived from yeast to give a recombinant DNA, transforming yeast with the recombinant DNA to give a transformant strain and culturing the transformant strain in a medium. CONSTITUTION:A phenol oxidase gene is inserted into a manifestation vector derived from yeast to give a recombinant DNA, yeast is transformed with the recombinant DNA to give a transformant strain of yeast. The transformant strain of yeast is cultured in a medium and phenol oxidase is collected from the prepared culture mixture. YIp type, YRp type, YEp type, YCp type and YRMp type is preferable as the manifestation vector. 3-Phosphoglycerate kinase gene or glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase gene are preferable as a promoter to be integrated into the manifestation vector.
