In the case of an axially movable shaft 1, the stroke limits are adjusted by means of an angular-contact ball bearing with increased axial or radial play. In this arrangement, the outer race 5 of a two-row angular-contact ball bearing is slotted and the two portions 7 of the outer race are spread apart axially and moved towards one another by means of a control pin 3 acting radially from the outside. Alternatively, the outer race is displaced only radially or deformed into an oval. During this process, the axial play is reduced by means of the sloping raceways. <IMAGE> |
