<p>A layer of high optical quality having energy-absorbing properties, based on a polyurethane, obtained by reactive casting or reactive spraying onto a horizontal planar support of a reaction mixture of an isocyanate component and of a polyol component, the ratio of the NCO isocyanate equivalent groups to the OH equivalent groups being approximately equal to 1, characterised in that the isocyanate component is made up of a mixture of 3-isocyanatomethyl- 3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexyl isocyanate (isocyanate I) and of bis-4-isocyanatocyclohexylmethane (isocyanate II), in a proportion of 0.1 to 0.8 NCO equivalents of isocyanate (I) and of 0.9 to 0.2 NCO equivalents of isocyanate (II) per NCO equivalent in total. …<??>The layer according to the invention is employed in laminated glazing comprising at least one sheet of glass and a layer of plastic material. …<IMAGE>… </p> |
