Multi-pigment printing system for printing on textiles, coated papers, silicone-treated papers, plastic films, etc necessitating several machine runs. To make it possible to print continuously, efficiently and rapidly, the printing is carried out onto a carrier by means of a first motif generator (17) and before the second motif generator (19) is reached, the print is brought in contact with a fluid (41).
