After being thrown into the air, a toy spontaneously describes a centrifugal helical rotary movement. The toy comprises a spherical body consisting of two hemispheres interconnected by complementary connecting elements; a flat, wing-shaped element which is connected with said spherical body by a connecting piece located between the parts which constitute the hemispherical, ovoid or ellipsoidal body, this connecting piece being capable of accommodating said connecting elements; a plastic disc located between the spherical body and the connecting piece; and a reinforcing rib rigidly connected to the wing-shaped body and the connecting piece with the spherical body. Another feature of the device is that the weight of the spherical, ovoid or ellipsoidal body is between 3.0 and 7.0 times greater than the weight of the wing-shaped element and the weight of the reinforcing rib is between 1.2 and 2.0 times greater than the weight of the wing-shaped element. |
