PURPOSE:To enable display of a maximum value of velocity of blood flow information at a specified section by providing a maximum value measuring indicating part to set a maximum value measuring section and a maximum value holding means to detect and hold a maximum value of velocity of blood information at each measuring point. CONSTITUTION:When a control part 14 inputs a delay time TD and a time width TW based on an organism signal, a maximum value measuring indicating part 15 generates a maximum value measuring section signal 21 by means of an organism signal serving as a trigger based on the inputted data. The receipt signal of each scanning line is analyzed regarding depth by means of a Doppler analyzing part 3, and orderly outputted to a write control part 10. A maximum value holding means 30 corresponding to the write control part 10 detects a maximum value at each measuring point from velocity of blood information obtained at each scanning in a maximum value measuring section and holds the maximum value in a memory 8 to display it. This constitution, since a measuring time phase is differed with a pulsating flow, holds a maximum value throughout the whole region of a reverse flow region to display the maximum value after a plurality of cycles. |
