PURPOSE:To completely operate respective programs without depending on the version of an operating system (OS) by providing an entry managing means for managing the OS at every version, and a parameter converting means. CONSTITUTION:When a program 11 and an entry managing means 12 are started, the entry managing means 12 obtains the version of an OS being the object of the program 11. When the versions of the OS are different from each other, and it is recognized that the program 11 cannot be processed, a parameter converting means 15 is started. The parameter converting means 15 converts the pointer of a segment base to the pointer of a non-segment base, a dependent information searching means 16 searches an area shown by the pointer, and by a dependent information converting means 17, the pointer of the segment base is converted to the non-segment base. In such a manner, the program can be completely operated.
