PURPOSE:To form a path even without having the knowledge of a hardware, and also, to eliminate a patch generation miss by forming automatically the path from the translation list of the result of source correction. CONSTITUTION:A changed part detecting means 3 detects a changed part from an old source translation list report file 1 outputted by the processor of a high level language and a new source report file where the bug of an old source is corrected with a high level language. Subsequently, an address register allocating means 8 determines a real address from an object text 5 and the symbol table 6 of the changed part outputted from the changed part detecting means 3 and the report file 7 of a link list outputted from a linker and executes the reallocation of a register, and outputs a path source and history information. In such a manner the path is formed automatically from the translation list of the result of source correction. Accordingly, the path can be formed even without having the knowledge of a hardware, and also, the path formation miss can be eliminated.
