<p>A process and catalyst have been developed for hydrotreating halogen containing olefinic feedstock including resins. The process and catalyst dehalogenates both saturated and unsaturated feedstock. The catalyst is not deactivated by prolonged exposure to a halogen. The composition of the catalyst includes oxides from Group VIIIA, tungsten oxide or molybdenum oxide and a basic promoter oxide from Group IA, Group IIA, Lanthanides and Actinides.</p> |
