<p>An improved flexible boot assembly (12) for a trilobal-tripot constant velocity joint having a housing (16). The boot assembly (12) includes a flexible boot having a sleeve (15) formed to complementary fit the outer contour of the joint housing (16). A segmented band (22) is formed having an inner contour shaped to fit the outer contour of said sleeve (15) and having a generally circular outer contour clamping surface, and a clamp (23) encircling the band (22) for causing said sleeve (15) to grip the joint housing (16).</p> |
