PURPOSE:To read the transfer situation of commands between a CPU and the peripheral devices and to confirm the peripheral devices as well as the time point when an abnormal input/output operation is produced by displaying sequentially the commands stored in a FIFO memory on a display device at occurrence of an input/output fault. CONSTITUTION:The commands transferred between a CPU and the peripheral devices 51 and 52 are stored in a FIFO memory 1. The storage of the commands is discontinued to the memory 1 if the abnormality is detected in the input/ output data received from both devices 51 and 52. Then the contents of the commands stored in the memory 1 are outputted to a display device 7 to trace the factor of the fault. Thus the fault factor can be directly traced without carrying out those jobs to correct a monitor or test program, to secure the connection of an external tracing device, etc. |
