Device for the suction removal and recovery of waste for ground cleansing machines of the type comprising a nozzle 26 which is held close to the ground, a principal suction pipe 27 connected to said nozzle 26, a waste collecting tank 30, an air separating filter 29 and a suction fan 35 which establishes a depression in the nozzle 26 during waste collection, the device being characterised in that the nozzle 26, the principal suction pipe 27, the collecting tank 30 and the filter 29, in particular, are incorporated in a cleansing module 24 positioned on the lengthwise axis of the machine situated between two lateral service modules and accessible from the rear face of the machine. <IMAGE>
