PURPOSE:To improve quality, productivity and economical merit by coating a transparent substrate layer with radiation-curing resin, depositing a polyolefin sheet thereon and irradiating the substrate with a radioactive ray through the polyolefin sheet. CONSTITUTION:The non-coated surface of the transparent substrate layer 1 is coated with the radiation-curing resin, covered with the polyolefin sheet 6, and then irradiated with a radioactive ray 7 such as UV or electron beam through the polyolefin sheet 6 to cure and form a hard coat layer 5. By laminating the polyolefin sheet 6 on the resin to be cured like this, problems of curing caused by oxygen can be prevented. The obtd. hard coat layer 5 is made thin and requires small amount of curing energy. Since the hard coat can be formed with low energy, an optical card with little thermal deformation and dimension stability can be produced. Thus, the obtd. optical card has excellent quality, productivity and economical merits. |
