PURPOSE: To prevent release of engagement in a terminal connector due to a reverse operation of a shank by using a shank with a side flange part of a special profile. CONSTITUTION: Pairs of staples 20a, 20a, 20b, 20b' connecting a bottom link 16 of a watch band 10 with two adjacent top links 14 are separated from each other at a distance of d1 . A flat spring 24 acts on a leg part of the staple in such a way that respective pair of staples occupying a maximum distance of d2 in its longitudinal direction. A terminal connector 26 has an approximately flat shank 28. The connector has an inner terminal part to be received between a line of a top part and bottom links 14, 16 at a terminal part of the band 10 as well as an outer terminal part forming a hook 30 to be engaged with a spring bar 32, etc., between lags formed in a casing of the watch. Side parts 36a, 36b extend between the above-mentioned inner terminal part and outer terminal part in which a width W1 between ear parts 38a, 38b protruding across a distance d3 is larger than the distance d1 , and a difference of a width W2 between side parts 36a, 36b and the distance d1 is smaller than a distance d3 . A notch 40 is arranged on a side part 36a in which a distance d4 between an inner flange part 42 and an outer flange part 44 is smaller than a distance d2 . |
