<p>PURPOSE: To make a monitor device to function synchronously to continuously arriving data cells by completely time-dividing the device by setting a counter for each channel in the latest state in time division only at the moment the data cells arrive at the entrance of a transmission medium. CONSTITUTION: Data cells each of which is composed of a control word group and a information word group successively arrive at the input terminal A of a monitor device at which a readout device 1 which draws out channel numbers from the control word group exists. Indexes are drawn out from the channel numbers and storage devices 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, and 14 give the parameters which are peculiar to appropriate channels based on the indexes. The latest state of a counter is compared with a threshold by means of a device 13 after the data cells arrive at and, when the latest state is smaller than the threshold, the data cells are led, but, when the latest state is equal to or larger than the threshold, the data cells are not led.</p> |
