PURPOSE:To simultaneously irradiate tracks of an optical recording medium with all of laser beams emitted from plural light emitting elements by arranging plural light emitting elements at various intervals. CONSTITUTION:Plural light emitting elements are linearly arranged at various intervals. That is, plural semiconductor laser elements 181 to 187 are linearly arranged in the semiconductor laser 2 as one body, and intervals x1 to x6 of respective semiconductor laser elements 181 to 187 are arranged so as to be successively increased (x1<x2 to <x6). Thus, plural laser beams are tracked on respective tracks, and information is simultaneously recorded or reproduced on plural tracks. |
