PURPOSE:To provide a document processor and its word dictionary capable of reducing time for retrieving a word by reducing the size of the word dictionary and increasing the number of words stored in a data block so as to reduce the number of the times of changing the block of retrieving destination. CONSTITUTION:In the document processor outputting the notation of a character string corresponding to the reading of the character string, at the time of inputting reading data showing the reading of the character string (3), corresponding to reading data of the character string, position data showing a position of a part whose notation and reading is not coincident with each other in reading data and notation data showing the notation of the part are stored in the word dictionary 2a, data stored in the word dictionary 2a is retrieved based on reading data of the inputted character string and the part whose notation and reading is not coincident with each other is replaced with notation data so as to prepare notation data of the inputted character string (1). |
