PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, consisting of 3-chloro-1,1,2,2- tetrafluoropropane, etc., and 2-methylpentane, excellent as a substitute fluorocarbon without causing any fluctuation of composition in recycling and requiring a remarkable change in conventional techniques. CONSTITUTION:The subject composition consisting of at least one compound selected from 3-chloro-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoropropane (R244ca), 1-chloro-1,2,2,3- tetrafluoropropane (R244cb) and 1,1-dichrolo-1,2,2-trofluoropropane (R234cc) and 2-methylpentane. The above-mentioned composition can be used for various application, such as solvents or foaming agents, in the same manner as that of conventional fluorocarbons and exhibits especially solvency comparable to that of 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (R113) as a solvent. The same usage as that of a solitary fluorocarbon can be provided. A composition consisting of 91wt.% compound (R244ca) and 9wt.% 2-methylpentane is cited as an example of the above-mentioned composition. |
