PURPOSE:To detect the illegal use of a season ticket such as the steal of a ride in a train without paying for the middle part of the journey by sending registration data and illegal use generating station data to a central control station when the illegal use is detected, preparing a black list, counting the time of the illegal use and calculating the buyer of the season ticket for which the frequency of the illegal use is higher than a reference frequency. CONSTITUTION:A central control unit 11 is set in a central station A and station terminal controllers 12-14 are set in stations B-D respectively. The respective station terminal controllers 12-14 send monitor data and registration data, which are prepared when the season tickets is issued, from automatic ticket examining machines (a) and (b) to the central controller 11 in the central station A. When the user of the season ticket passes through a ticket examining port and presents the season ticket to a prescribed spot, a data reader / writer receives read data from a memory card and checks the registration data, namely, checks an effective period and effective block, etc. Then, when the use of the season ticket is proper, the data of 'outgoing' are always stored in the state of outgoing.
