Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft feinteilige magnetische Hexaferritpigmente der allgemeinen Zusammensetzung M(I)xMgyTizFe12-(y+z)O19 wobei 0,5 < = x < 1,3, 0,1 < = (y+z) < = 3, (x+y+z) > = 1,0 und 0,0 < = y < = 1,5 0,0 < = z < = 1,5 und M(I): Ba, Sr, Pb, Ca bedeuten, sowie deren Verwendung.
