PURPOSE: To facilitate a method for forming an image on a modifiable image receiving sheet by keeping the image receiving sheet protected during the subsequent processing stages. CONSTITUTION: The image receiving sheet composite formed by adhering a polymer film via an adhesive layer to the opposite surface of the modifiable sheet material is prepd. Further, the sheet composite has a photosensitive layer contg. a photosensitive component of the amt. sufficient for photosensitization of the layer, a resin type binder compsn. of the amt. sufficient for forming the film and coloring agents and the arbitrary non-photosensitive colorless adhesive layer having a softening point of a specific range on a substrate having an open surface. The photosensitive element is laminated on the one surface of the image receiving sheet composite by using heat and pressure and, further, peeling force is applied thereon to remove the gas. Further, the photosensitive layer is subjected to image exposure to chemical rays. The regions where there are no images of the photosensitive layer are then removed by using a liquid developer. As a result, the method for easily forming the color image on the modifiable sheet material is obtd. |
