PURPOSE:To evade the deterioration in quality of a reproduced voice signal even when the quality of a coded code is deteriorated by spreading and inserting a signal to be sent into plural frames and sending the result with the switching control of frames timewise. CONSTITUTION:A sender side band split filter section 1 at the sender side splits a voice signal into plural bands and an interleaving section 2 applies interleaving processing to a signal at each band from the filter section 1. Then a coding section 3 applies coding processing to a signal for each band subject to the interleaving processing by the interleaving section 2 and the coded signal is multiplexed by a multiplex section 4. Then the multiplex signal is inserted splittingly to plural frames by a sender side time switching control section 11 and the signal is sent. A receiver side time switching control section 12 at the receiver side is used to switch the signal in response to the switching operation of the control section 11, after the signal is subject to demultiplex processing at a demultiplex section, the resulting signal is decoded by a decoding section 6, subject to interpolation processing by an interpolation section 7, a receiver side band split filter section 8 extracts a signal for each band and an adder section 9 synthesizes the signals. |
