PURPOSE:To obtain a thermally sensitive, transferable recording medium with high anti-sticking effect which can be stored in satisfactory condition for a long time by forming a modified silicone resin layer and a silicone oil layer sequentially on one surface of a thermally sensitive, transferable recording medium with a coloring ink layer provided the other surface of the base. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium consists of a dual back coat layer with an internal layer formed by applying 0.2 to 3mum-thick modified silicone resin obtained by condensation an intermediate silicone condensation product with a methoxy group at the end, with esterified resin such as an intermediate alkyd condensation product and epoxy resin on a base, and with an external layer formed by applying 0.1 to 2mum-thick silicone oil such as dimethylsilicone oil or methylphenylsilicone oil on the internal layer. In addition, polyester film of 3 to 9mum thickness is used as the base, and a coloring ink layer is formed by using an ink composition obtained by blending the vehicle of polyester resin or polyvinylbutyral resin with sublimable or thermally fusable migrating dye. Consequently, the medium layer is not rubbed off by a thermal head and the medium can be stored in satisfactory condition for a long time. |
