摘要 |
PURPOSE: To prevent contamination of a print head by composing one side of a supporting layer of an anti-stick material containing organopolysiloxane- polyurea block copolymer and providing a heat-activated image forming material on the other side. CONSTITUTION: The donor element comprises a supporting layer having an anti-stick surface of organopolysiloxane-polyurea block copolymer, and a sheet or a tape containing a heat-activated image forming material on the other side of the supporting layer. The anti-stick material of the donor element does not exhibit recognizable adhesion or transfer to a thermal print head under normal operational conditions or to the image forming material when the anti- stick material is stored in roll shape under ambient conditions thus exhibiting excellent high temperature stability. In addition, it does not exhibit a trend for admitting transfer to the image forming material when it is stored under ambient conditions. |
