The invention relates to a lighting fitting with a rod- shaped light source 3 and a reflector 1, the reflector surface of which has elongate ridges 2. The ridges or their prolongations intersect a light exit plane which defines the light exit opening of the lighting fitting. As a result of this angling of the ridges, a more even light distribution curve is obtained without undesirable peaks. The reflector surface also has ridges alternating with ridge-free portions, and the distance between the ridges varies in the transverse direction of the light source. <IMAGE> |
