The invention concerns a method for producing fluff pulp of the type which is obtained by digestion and delignification of raw wood material with the aid of digester chemicals, with pulp fibres being obtained which are washed by being kept in aqueous suspension and dried for delivery in dry form. The aqueous suspension, in which the pulp fibres are present before drying, has alpha cellulose added to it in finely ground form, the object being for this to settle on the surface of the pulp fibres and thereby counteract the development of hydrogen bonds between the fibres as they are dewatered and dried. |
