<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of delay of the time limit of the due work caused by a fault of a device by making the faulty device update the work plan in consideration of its own work time limit without concentrating the load for same device. CONSTITUTION:In a production system a host computer 1 is connected to the devices 2-1 to 2-n via a LAN 4 and therefore the mutual communication is possible among devices 2-1 to 2-n via the LAN 4 as shown by the arrows 3. Here the necessary information and the communication procedures are given to the devices 2-1 to 2-n respectively for execution of the work substitute within the system. As a result, a device having some fault performs the communication with another device within the system and substitutes its own work with another device in consideration of the time limit of its own work. Thus it is possible to minimize the increase of delay of the time limit of the due work caused by the fault of a certain device in the system.</p> |
