PURPOSE:To ensure a necessary interval between transfer sheets on a transfer sheet transport path for efficient transport by providing a sheet detecting switch for detecting the transfer sheet between a sheet supply part and a handle roller to change over a control mode according to the turning-on and -off of the sheet detecting switch. CONSTITUTION:A temporary stop mode is selected only when a sheet detecting switch SW4 detects a transfer sheet, i.e., twofold supply takes place, and the supply of transfer sheet continued for a predetermined period ensuring required interval between the preceeding and succeeding transfer sheets is stopped. Next, when this switch SW4 is turned off and the twofold supply does not take place, a constant cycle mode is selected to send the transfer sheet from a sheet supply part at a constant interval of time. |
