An apparatus and a method for displaying a camera information are disclosed. The apparatus comprises: a switching unit(10) having a power switch providing a power to a camera and a number of function switch for providing an electrical signal corresponding to a camera function; an information displaying unit(30) for displaying a number of function modes; a controller(20) for controlling the displaying unit(30); and an information display driving unit for providing the information display driving signal.
