A sensitiveness control circuit and method capable of improving sensitiveness of a video camera by adjusting a gain is disclosed. In the control circuit, a first input path for inputting an iris value. A second input path for inputting a white level of red, green, and blue signals. A control switch switches one of the red or green signal transmitted from the second input path. A comparator compares an output signal of the control switch and a gain of the green signal. A controller receives the iris value from the first input path and controls a gain of the output signal of the comparator according to the iris value.
