<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in the reliability caused by out of synchronism by providing one cell generating section or over to a cell input section, outputting an idle cell or synchronizing cell from a cell generating section based on predetermined conditions and inputting the cell to the input section. CONSTITUTION:A cell generating section 2 fetches the state of a data cell stored in a buffer in pre-processing sections 1a-1m to manage unifiedly the data cell outputted from the pre-processing sections 1a-1m based on cell management information while generating the cell management information. When the predetermined conditions are arranged, the cell generating section 2 outputs an idle cell or synchronizing cell to reduce a cell abort rate in the switch 4 or take synchronization in the switch 4 or the inside or the outside of the switch 4. Thus, the reduction in the reliability due to out of synchronization is prevented.</p> |
