PURPOSE:To prevent insertion mistake of a medium at the takeout of a medium handling unit, by providing a slit stopper mechanism which closes the medium insertion slit in accordance with the takeout of the medium handling unit. CONSTITUTION:A bank book processor 13 consists of a bank book guide 15 as a medium guide having a slit shaped bank book insertion inlet 7, a bank book guide body 15 as a storage mechanism fitting the guide 15 to a console 1, a bank book processing unit as a medium handling unit handling and receiving a bank book inserted to the inlet 7, a bank book insertion stopper mechanism 18 as an insertion stopper mechanism preventing insertion mistake of the bank book to the inlet 7, and a positioning mechanism 19 positioning a bank book inlet 7 to a bank book processing unit 17. |
