PURPOSE:To improve accuracy while eliminating an influence by measuring noise by an arithmetic expression estimating load torque in a roll driving system from terminal voltage of an electric driven motor and its speed. CONSTITUTION:A weight 10 is changed in its weight on a step, estimating load torque by an observer's arithmetic expression. In the case of comparison of a value of the estimated load torque with an actually measured load torque value and with a load torque value by the conventional difference calculation, the load torque estimated value, obtained by the method of this invention, well corresponds to the actually measured value as compared with the difference calculus in the past having bad accuracy because a large influence is received of measuring noise. |
