The optimal working range of a non-catalytic separation method is often restricted to a defined temperature range. This applies, in particular, to non-catalytic denitration methods. To adapt the separation process to great temperature variations, a solution containing the substance to be separated off is used in a support substance. Since the separation between the substance to be separated off and the support substance requires a certain time, the timepoint of the start of the reaction between the substance to be separated off and the substance separating off can be controlled and, when the medium containing the substance to be separated off moves, the site of the start of reaction can also be controlled.
