PURPOSE:To prevent the excess tillering and lodging of seedlings by opening a furrow in soil and press-seeding on the bottom of the furrow. CONSTITUTION:A furrow having the longitudinal cross section of a V-shape or reverse trapezoid having a depth of 1-5cm and an opening angle of 30-90 degree is opened with a furrow-making float 2, and calcium peroxide powder- coated seeds are sowed on the bottom of the furrow from a seedling pipe 4. The sowed seeds on the bottom of the furrow are pressed with a pressing roller 3 having the same reverse trapezoid longitudinal cross section as that of the furrow to shallowly bury the seeds in the soil. The subsequent pouring of water gives a very shallow depth of covered soil and prevents the flowing-out of the seeds. |
