<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectrode excellent in utilization efficiency of incident light, and a dye-sensitized solar cell provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: A photoelectrode 1 is configured such that: a transparent electrode 10, a photoelectric conversion layer 13, and a light reflecting layer 14 are laminated in this order; the photoelectric conversion layer 13 is formed of a porous semiconductor on which a sensitizing dye is supported; and the light reflecting layer 14 is formed of a porous material on which the sensitizing dye is not supported.
