PURPOSE: To obtain a strong printing head without damaging resolving power by providing a step forming two sets of vias so as to provide a predetermined interval capable of performing undercutting and a step undercutting the common walls of etched recessed parts to allow them to communicate with each other while using residual parts in order to reinforce the printing head. CONSTITUTION: For example, about 200 ink channel recessed parts 13 and divided tanks 14 having at least two individually etched through-holes 15 separated by walls 17 are provided in one perfect channel plate 12. By the etching piercing a wafer, the undercuts 'Y' of a corrosion-resistant mask 19 of about 7μm are obtained. The width 'X' (about twice Y) of the first wall is properly selected to control a wall removing etching time to form a residual wall part 18 and this wall part acts as a reinforcing rib 18 and can allow the individual through-holes 15 to communicate with each other and can function as one elongated divided tank 14. Even if the tank, that is, a manifold becomes larger or longer in order to supply ink to many ink channels, the reinforcing rib 18 increases the strength of a channel plate wafer.
