PURPOSE:To form a color correction data number as the power of 2 and to efficiently utilize the capacity of a data storage means by dividing equally an input signal at the interval of 'M' from 0 sequentially in total 2L when the input signal is in N-bit and has 2<n> of gradation number and storing the color correction data of the divided points to a color reproduction ROM. CONSTITUTION:A color correction data outputted sequentially from a color reproduction ROM 63R is supplied to a multiplication accumulation device 64R, into which a weight coefficient is supplied sequentially and in which the multiplication accumulation is processed. When an inputted n-color decomposition picture data (n is an integer number of >=2) has N-bit each, the interval of a basic grid is selected to be M quantization level, then the relation of (2N-1)/M+1=2L is satisfied, where 2L is N and N, M, L are integer numbers. Thus, the number of color correction data is expressed as the power of 2 and the capacity of the color reproduction ROM 63R is efficiently utilized. |
