PURPOSE:To alleviate a working load of a teller by superposing a printed slip on a printing surface of one side page of a transferred bankbook by a page closing unit, and pressing the cover surface of a page of the passbook not in contact with the slip to feed the passbook while inclining it outside of a transfer passage to close the page of the passbook. CONSTITUTION:A passbook 2 printed by a printer 13 is transferred to a page closing unit 15, and a slip 4 printed by the printer 13 is superposed on a printing surface of one side page of the passbook 2 superposing means 16. The cover surface of a page of the passbook 2 superposed with the slip 4, not in contact with the slip 4 is pressed by closing means 17 to feed the passbook 2 while inclining it to the outside of a transfer passage 9 to close the page of the passbook 2. Then, the slip 4 is inserted between the pages of the passbook 2. Then, the passbook 2 in which the slip 4 is inserted is fed to an outlet 3. Thus, since the passbook 2 and the slip 4 can be simultaneously fed, the work load of a teller can be alleviated. |
