PURPOSE:To make it possible to alter operating speed of an actuator according to the stroke of a metering cylinder by constituting it to move a subcylinder and a subpiston both when external force acting on a metering rod is smaller than holding force of a holding member, and when it is larger, to move only the subpiston. CONSTITUTION:A subcylinder 16 fixed with a main piston 14 is installed concentrically between a body 13 of a metering cylinder A and a metering rod 27, and both this subcylinder 16 and a subpiston 24 to be installed are held by a holding member consisting of a detent ball 30 and a spring 31. Then, when external force acts on the metering rod 27 and thereby it moves, both the subcylinder 16 and the subpiston 24 are moved when the external force is smaller than the holding force of the holding member, and if the external force becomes larger than the holding force, linkage between the subcylinder 16 and the subpiston 24 is cut off, and it is constituted so as to move only the subpiston 24. |
