PURPOSE:To obtain a continuous ceramic plate free from warpage and winding by bonding by a specific method lamellar ceramic green sheets prepared by doctor blade method to form a green sheet, coiling the green sheet around a core while adding a mold release agent to the green sheet and calcining the coiled green sheet. CONSTITUTION:A lamellar ceramic green sheet 1b prepared by doctor blade method is placed on another ceramic green sheet 1a in such a way that the tops or backs of both the ceramic green sheets are mutually superimposed, further these ceramic green sheets 1a and 1b are bonded to form a green sheet 2. Then one side of the green sheet 2 is coiled around a core material 5 while being coated with a mold release agent 4 and then calcined. A material having neither adhesivity nor reactivity to a ceramic material used during calcination is used as the mold release agent 4. For example, when zirconia is used as the ceramic material, a sheet consisting essentially of alumina powder or boron powder is preferable as the ceramic green sheet. |
