Toothbrush has toothpaste and drive compartments in dispenser cylinder, valve, opening, piston and handle. The toothpaste dispenser cylinder (7) is divided by a piston (8) moving tightly against it into a toothpaste compartment (15) and a drive compartment (23). The toothpaste compartment is connected by a riser tube to at least one opening (41) in the brush's base (37) or back. The manually operated valve (14,36) closing or releasing the connection is positioned directly behind the base or back of the brush. The toothpaste compartment is subjected to pressure via the piston by means of an externally operated drive (24) protruding in the drive compartment and contained in the sleeve shaped handle (2).
