In a pneumatic stowing pipe for front discharge of stowing in underground operation, with a multi-piece pipe coupling consisting of a half fixed essentially on the blow-out end, a coupling ring preferably curved on the outside, and another half which is arranged on the opposite blow-out end and has claws which interact with the coupling ring of an adjacent pneumatic stowing pipe and are attached to links which are mounted on a pipe sleeve and are actuated by an annular slide valve which is displaced via an adjusting ring by a linear drive shifted on the pipe sleeve and preferably formed by several working cylinders, the annular slide valve acting as a locking mechanism on the set links, provision is made according to the invention for the pipe sleeve to be mounted in an axially displaceable manner and to be displaceable by a second linear drive shifted on the blow-out end, the two linear drives being controllable in mutual dependency in such a way that the pipe sleeve with extended links can be displaced over the blow-out end until in alignment with the second coupling half, and after the setting of the links the sleeve drive pulls the adjacent pipe with its coupling half enclosed by the claws, with the links locked, until the pipe ends are sealed.
